Upendra Devkota is admited in his own hospital at "hope" ward

There is no option besides of Upendra Devkota as a neurosurgeon. He is also the founder of the first neurological trauma unit in Bir Hospital, Nepal and National Institute of Neurological and Allied Science which is commonly known as Neuro Hospital, which is providing their services for the patients from all over the Asia.

He was born in Gorkha in 1954. He started his education journey from Jyoti Janata High School well know as Luintel High School of Gorkha, Palungtar, Gorkha, Nepal. Dr. Baburam Bhatarai and Upendra Devkota were classmate from class 8 to ISC. Dr. Devekota successfully completed ISc (Intermediate of Science) from Amrit Science Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. He completed Bachelor of Medicine and bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) in 1978, form Assam Medical Collage Dibrughar University, Assam, India. After that he worked few year in Bir Hospital under Dr DN Gongol.

He went to the United Kindom or the advance training in neurosurgery. There he trained at Atkinson Morley Hospital, Southern General Hospital Glasgow. In 1989 he return back to Nepal. He at first first time started Neurosurgery in Bir Hospital, Nepal. Latter on  he stabilished NINAS in Bansbari, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Now Dr. Devkota himself is suffering with Bile Duct Cancer Colangiocarcinoma. He did not find any treatment in Nepal and went ot UK and at the King's College Hospital, UK, cancer was diagnosed. No body can treat him there, and his condition is become worse while being their with experimental treatment. Then he returned back to Nepal, His own motherland among  he Nepalis brothers, sisters, friends and relative to whom he loves and they love him.

Now  he is admited in his own hospital - National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences, Bansbari, Kathmandu, Nepal. "It is certain that after life there Death" He remembers bhagavad Gita. " Life is the journey form the mother's womb to the tomb". Henry Longfellow wrote. and the poet Kshetra Pratap Adhikari wrote " There is a lot left to do in life, the greatest of which is die". So everybody who born most die. this is only one and final truth. everybody accept death. So death is not important, the main thing is what he leaves behind after death.
