Two major party of Nepal merged in Nepal. The official announcement of the unification of these two major party CPN-UML and CPN(maoist) Center was made by Party Leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. The announcement of the unification has done with the presence of KP Sharma Oli and Puspa Kamal Dahal and other leaders at the City Hall. 

After the announcement of unification, KP Oli, Puspa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), Janardan Sharma and other leaders addressed the conference.

Oli addressed that Tempho had one driver but to move forward wheels, engine and other part of tampho have major task. without these thing driver is useless. like wise, tempho has one driver but Jet plane has two pilots. We want to lead our new party as a jet plane and other remaining parties are like tempho.g that the Communist Party, unfortunately, started bickering soon after its birth and began splitting some 55 years ago, the Prime Minister stated that the very unification proved that the communist parties could not only split but also unite at the right time. 

Prachanda said that the unification fulfilled after long time of desire of the elder leaders to unite all the communist parties. Now communist party has as much majority which can lead our nation in a right way for the development of Nepal. He said that this unification of communist party bring great happiness for all Nepalis who really want political stability fro the development in social and economic sectors. with a powerful party. He added that after unification Both CPN-UML and CPN(Maoist) Center were dissolve while getting new birth of fresh and strong party which can achieve the goal of "Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali"
