Churiya mai

Churiya Mai is very Famous Temple not only in Hetauda but all over the Nepal. People from different places comes here to pray Curiya Mai. This temple is also known as the god of vehicle so people with their vehicle have great faith on goddess as she protects and aid her devotees to escape from accidents. So prayer often deliver the vehicle to the goddess first and after that they use. People from different places often come here to worship for the goddess bless to them to protect from accidents, crash or other types of untimely bad situations

In Dashain, prayer comes here to worship as Durga during the festival of Nawami. the croud during that day tells the popularity of the temple.

It is said that in 1965 BS, there is a tunnel which lies in the Churiya Mountain Range, makes its popularity more. The main temple is just ahead of the tunnel but after the construction of Tribhuwan highway, the substitute temple was made with the mirror image of the goddess and placed near the highway. Now bus driver, Passenger, and vehicle owner, worship and make some VAKA and ask bless for them fro the protection from accident.
